Local, regional and international studios will present their creative achievements in the heart of Dubai, Downtown Dubai, at the foot of the world's tallest building - the Burj Khalifa skyscraper.
In 2013, 29 galleries will be participating in the “Designers' Days in Dubai”, which will show 135 exhibits brought from six continents, which will be another proof of the cosmopolitan essence of the emirate. Having earned a reputation as a contemporary art fair, the exposition will host on its site all the connoisseurs of man-made masterpieces, residents and guests of the United Arab Emirates, who will surely enjoy the exquisite creations of artists represented in different price categories, which can be purchased directly in the showroom.
It is worth noting that at the "Days of Designers in Dubai" you can find both well-known galleries and the work of aspiring masters. So, more than 70% of all participants of the last year in 2013 exhibited here again, while the remaining artists became debutants of the show.
For the first time, “Designers' Days in Dubai” this year presents new ways of interacting with high art objects. The laboratory of the exhibition will become a "home" for artists who create "live", and the main theme of their work will be the conservation of natural resources. For the production of new masterpieces, they will use recycled industrial waste, and all visitors will be able to observe the changes. Also, free tours will be organized for the guests of the show, during which professional curators will tell them about the interpretation of each work, the history of each gallery, as well as provide an opportunity to communicate with the authors themselves.
In general, visitors to the exhibition will not only be able to enjoy exploring rare and unique exhibits, but also take part in panel discussions and workshops, including those organized with the assistance of the most influential masters of our time. Discussions open to the public will be held twice a day, from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 18.00. The Exclusive Design section, which will feature prestigious brands and the regional premiere of unique installations, will make Design Days in Dubai even more special.
For the second year in a row, most of the exhibits of the new and modern era, as well as several classic items, are collection works of art of museum quality.
