ADFC Presents TOP FIGHT

THE SUCCESS OF LAST YEAR MMA INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN ABU DABI (ADFC) SHOWS HOW MUCH POPULARITY MIXED MARTIAL ARTS IN THIS REGION HAVE BEEN USED. NUMEROUS FIGHTING CLUBS HAVE BEEN GROWING HERE AS ON YEAST, AND THE ADFC GUIDE DECIDED NOT TO MISS THE OPPORTUNITIES TO DETERMINE THE ATHLETES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE NEXT TRAINING OFFICERS OF THE ORGANISTS.

The first tour “Top Fight” took place in February this year on the JBR embankment, where the title “Best club in mixed fights” was measured by forces: Generation Exreme, Olympic Gym (Beirut), Nomads, Top Team (Moscow), Top Team (Makhachkala) , Sharjah Fight Club, Ashkan MMA, Ready Fight Gear and Team Parviz.

Despite the fact that among the participants there were fighters who performed earlier in professional fights, the tournament was held according to amateur rules. What, unfortunately, many learned only during the fight. In this, of course, the minus to the organizers - the awarded “draw”, in the battle of Muhammad Jamshidi (Sharjah Fight Club) against Sergio Omisolo (Ready Fight Gear) caused the most complaints from the public. Muhammad led beautifully from the very beginning, for the most part keeping Sergio on the floor, in the second, the opponent seemed to get the upper hand, but Muhammad quickly got up and twisted it again. In the third - after several crosses, Jamshidi laid Omisolo, already obviously tortured, on the floor, where he finished off with his knees over the body. According to all the canons of MMA, the victory was for the local fighter, but the judge unexpectedly announced that they took points for knees in the stalls, therefore, in the total score, it was a draw.

It turns out that only in the fourth fight did the public learn that knees and kicking in the head in the stalls, knees in the head in the rack and some especially dangerous painful techniques are prohibited.

Despite reading the rules, the judges' assessment of the next fight, Zaynal Isamutdinov (Generation Xtreme) - Nilson Lopez (Ready Fight Gear), was also difficult to understand. And another rare case, when Brazilian Eduardo de Silva (Ready Fight Gear) defeated Highlander Mahmud Abdulkhalimov (Top Team Moscow) in the third round on points, caused a wave of outrage among the fans for the judges.

In the penultimate fight of the first day, we saw a knockout: Azat Tagiyev (Generation Xtreme) defeated Ibrahim Gaziev (Top Team Moscow). But immediately after him, the Top Team prevailed: Ruslan Ibragimov (Top Team Makhachkala) defeated Johongir Mamarizoev (Team Parviz). The first round was “cautious”, the fighters checked each other, and it was clear that their level of training was about the same, despite different styles of warfare. Win points after a tense three rounds! All three judges agreed to award victory to Ruslan.

The second day was more organized, the athletes, this time, were better informed about the rules of warfare. But, despite the bans, our fighters were again at their best - for both days, the Dagestan and Uzbek schools showed a clear advantage over the Brazilian and, of course, Arab training. Shamil Gamzatov (Top Team) easily and quickly “smeared” his opponent Assad Raad (Beirut) before the end of the first round. Local fighter Ali “Kid,” who is training at Generation Xtreme with Magomed Suleymanov, defeated an Iranian rival in a tense struggle.

We can say that the types of martial arts were developed in the UAE thanks to, among other things, our trainers. Top Team Club, which specializes in jujitsu, grappling, Thai boxing and mixed martial arts, has now received its permanent residence in Dubai, led by its director and head coach Magomed Suleimanov.

Congratulations to the guys on a well-deserved victory and hope to see them at the next qualifying tournament “Top Fight” in July this year in Lebanon.
