AUGUST 31, THE QUEEN OF RANIA Al-Abdullah was 45 years old. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL OF THE MONSTERS AND ALREADY THE FAVORITE FAVORITE FIRST LADY OF JORDAN HAS LATERALLY CONQUERED OUR EDITION AS AN EXAMPLE OF A TRUE STYLE AND INEXPRESSIBLE BLESSNESS.

Her Majesty Rania’s life is like an old legend. However, few people know how much work and patience it cost a young Jordanian girl to survive in an oriental tale.

Rania was born in Kuwait to a family of Palestinian refugees who have lived in Kuwait for a long time. Her father Yasin was a doctor and before the occupation he lived in the ancient Aramaic city of Tulkarm, whose name translates from Arabic as "grape mountain." In childhood, parents instilled in their daughter a love of work and knowledge.

First, she studied at the Kuwait school New English School, and then brilliantly defended her degree in business administration at the American University of Cairo. If Rania did not marry the prince, most likely, she would become a successful entrepreneur. “A huge number of Muslims still believe that a woman brought up in the traditions of Islam should spend her life at home,” Rania says. “I always wanted to prove that work is not a shame at all, and the Arab world is not just for men. Skill to feed herself does not make a woman less religious. "

In Cairo, Rania our work at ... Apple. However, soon the hardworking and ambitious girl slammed the door, realizing that she could not achieve a leading position, despite her professionalism. By that time, her father’s wanderings were still ongoing: due to the Kuwaiti conflict, 300,000 Palestinians were accused of collaborating with Saddam Hussein’s army and were forced to leave the country immediately. The Yasin family settled in Jordan. Rania returned to Amman, to her family, and got a job at Citibank's investment department - not least because she was run by a woman, the sister of the future King Abdullah Second Princess Aisha. “She was graceful, like a doe, and disciplined, like a soldier,” Aisha describes the first impression of meeting Rania.

There was a strong friendship between the women, and one day Prince Abdallah appeared at a dinner party where Rania was invited. “It was a chance meeting,” the King of Jordan recalls. “I commanded a tank battalion then, and we had a good exercise in the desert. Father let me go home for twenty-four hours, and my sister invited me to dinner. I took a shower, changed my clothes and drove off "Rania was at that dinner. I looked at her once and realized: she is the only one, and I don’t need another."

Rania herself was impressed: the prince flew on a fighter, drove a racing car, collected paintings and adored Paris. He had wonderful manners instilled by an English mother ... Six months later, on June 10, 1993, the couple entered into an official marriage, accompanied by a magnificent ceremony.

Although Rania became a princess, her first years at court were rather quiet. The most interesting thing began when King Hussein, while dying, decided to rewrite the will and transfer the throne to his son Abdullah, and not his younger brother Hassan. March 22, 1999, 40 days after the death of her father-in-law, Rania was crowned.

Having visited Jordan at least once, anyone will understand how sincerely admirable and loving the people are for the Queen, who are proud of her and who have deep devotion to her. Her first and foremost initiative was education, including numerous scholarships under the Queen Rania Al Abdullah Scholarship Program. Having an active life position, Queen Rania became a symbol of a progressive Arab woman: in the foreground, she has the support of human rights organizations and the struggle for women's rights. As the Queen of Jordan, she was able to achieve fantastic results in the education system, employment of the population, work with young people, as well as in strengthening relations between the Arab world and the West. She devotes a lot of time to researching and finding solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, and opposes any form of aggression.

Despite engaging in social activities, Rania manages to stay in great shape. “Be kind to yourself,” is the advice the queen gives to our readers.

In 2003, she won the Queen of Elegance of the World honorary title, which she was awarded by the British magazine Hello !, ahead of Hollywood actresses Catherine Zeta-Jones and Nicole Kidman. While still a princess, she was recognized as an icon of style. In her wardrobe, most of the clothes are elegant trouser suits and skirts of a classic cut, silk blouses of neutral or cream colors. Increasingly, she prefers things with a light texture from Chloe, Giambattista Valli and Nina Ricci.

And in order to maintain perfect physical shape, even after the birth of four children, Rania prefers running.

Rania looks perfectly elegant, always according to the event and place. At formal events, she prefers the classic style, and in everyday life - more casual, not hesitating to appear in front of subjects in jeans. She seemed to have left the pages of the magazine: a slender figure, refined facial features, a charming smile. Even when Rania had the status of the bride of the crown prince, the Queen Mother noted that the future daughter-in-law would become an adornment of their dynasty. And so it happened. Today, 45-year-old Rania, without exaggeration, has an army of fans around the world. She organically combines national costumes and elegant outfits from leading fashion houses in her wardrobe. She loves outfits from Armani Prive and Lebanese fashion designer Elie Saab, and Giorgio Armani even once admitted that it was Rania who was his main muse.

Like all women, Rania also loves jewelry. Due to its position, it can often be seen in tiaras. For example, the diadem of Queen Alia of Jordan, which was created specifically for her by the French Jewelry House Cartier. After the tragic death of the queen in a plane crash in 1977, the tiara passed to her daughter, Princess Haye, who is now married to the UAE prime minister and vice president, ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed Ibn Rashid Al Maktoum. Princess Haya lent this tiara to Rania on the day of the official accession to the throne of her husband, King Abdullah II. Rania has another, no less interesting tiara - in the form of a wreath of emeralds, created for her by the Boucheron Jewelry House.

With great pleasure, the Queen of Jordan wears Louis Vuitton, Fendi, Dior, Valentino accessories, vintage YSL bags, Bottega Veneta, unusual Marni jewelry and, of course, her beloved Manolo Blahnik. She skillfully introduces avant-garde brands such as Alexander McQueen, and vibrant prints by Peter Pilotto, MSGM, and even an unexpected cut from the Serbian designer Roksanda into her classic wardrobe. “When I choose what to wear, I understand that I’m doing this not only for myself. Especially abroad, where I represent my country and my people. Of course, I choose different clothes for a conference in France or for a humanitarian mission to visit the Bedouin village "

No other representative of power has such popularity and popular love. She is a source of inspiration for the people of the country and more than 4 million subscribers on her Twitter account. Nevertheless, it is “affordable” and real: “I wake up every day and feel like an ordinary person!” Without superfluous secular fuss, close to the problems of the people and modern society, she is a vivid example of how beauty and enthusiasm gradually create an economic and political miracle. And this tale is not the end.
