UAE creates a hologram of the country's founding father Sheikh Zayed

In the United Arab Emirates, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the country's founding father, Sheikh Zayed ibn Sultan Al Nahyan, they created his hologram.

In honor of the 100th birthday of the late Sheikh Zayed ibn Sultan Al Nahyan in Dubai, they created an ultra-realistic, high-tech hologram depicting the UAE's founding father. The hologram delivers a speech addressed to the young generation of emirates.

The hologram was developed by New Dimension Productions (NDP) with the use of 3D technologies, which made it possible to recreate in detail the face textures of Sheikh Zayed, repeat the movements of the head and combine small parts of the image into a single whole.

A team of experts worked on the hologram; all the work took more than 400 hours.

“The NDP team has taken 3D modeling, animation, compositing and visual effects to a whole new level. Now you and I can see a hologram depicting the amazing personality of His Highness,” said NDP co-founder and CEO Hassan Hina.

"It is a great honor for us to create a hologram of His Highness on the occasion of the year of Zayd, this gave us additional motivation to bring our work to perfection."

In order to bring the hologram to life, NDP specialists carefully studied the tone of Sheikh Zayed's voice, his facial expressions and gestures. A large number of different audio recordings were processed and synchronized.

In 2016, NDP, a company operating primarily for customers from the UAE and the Gulf countries, moved from Amman to Dubai.

"This step will allow us to discover new opportunities for ourselves, to realize our vision in a state striving to be pioneers in every field, a country that makes the future a real one," added Mr. Hina.
