For cruelty to animals in the UAE will be punished with heavy fines

The authorities of the Arab Emirates issued a strict warning to pet owners and other persons that they would be punished with heavy fines for improper treatment of "smaller brothers".

According to the Ministry of Environment and Water of the UAE, the punishment of persons abusing animals and birds is provided for by the law of 2007, designed to protect domestic and other animals located in the country. Punishment applies to everyone who abuses animals and birds and uses them for fighting, scenery, commercial purposes and any other means and ways that are "incompatible with the nature of the animal."

“All persons with animals and birds are required to follow the regulations and laws that ensure their normal lives,” the Al Ittihad news agency, citing a legal act, said in an emirate. - "The law categorically prohibits the use of any animals or birds for exhibiting them in battle, in the form of scenery, for entertainment, at exhibitions, demonstrations, hunting and in any other ways incompatible with their true nature."

Violation of the provisions of the law and cruelty towards the fauna is also considered not to provide pets with rest, adequate food and drink, overwork them in races and during other types of activity, as well as negligence and inaction in providing them with appropriate sites and cages, guaranteeing the safety of maintenance.
