Jumeirah Group invites tourists to catch pearls in Dubai

The international hospitality management company Jumeirah Group, which is based in Dubai and is part of the large holding Dubai Holding, organizes a series of boat trips during which everyone will have the opportunity to learn the history of pearl craft traditional for the United Arab Emirates.

Starting March 2, tourists will go into the waters of the Persian Gulf on a real wooden boat "Dhow." The walk starts from the bay of the man-made island of The Palm Jebel Ali. During the tour, everyone can try themselves in the role of real pearl hunters.

The most successful divers will receive their pearls as a souvenir. The tour will cost 700 dirhams (US $ 191.2) for an adult visitor and 500 dirhams (US $ 136.6) for a child under 12 years old.

Tours will be organized weekly, from Tuesday to Saturday, from 9.00 to 15.00. The tours are organized by The Pavilion Dive Center Diving Club, which is located in the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, in collaboration with the Organization for the Protection of Marine Life of the UAE.
