New Art Space in Dubai: Alif Art Gallery

The new Hot-Spot, the Alif Art Gallery, opened at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) on January 30th. Along with the new art space, a personal exhibition of Timur Davatts' works of myths "Myths and Legends" was presented to the public.

It is worth noting that the master is one of the five most famous artists in England and teaches at the Royal Academy of Arts. Previously, part of this collection has already been exhibited in Dubai.

Timur Davatz, by his own admission, draws inspiration from the history of the Ancient World, early Byzantine art, medieval tapestries and mythology of the peoples of the world. His paintings amaze with the motives of surrealism and the depth of penetration into the consciousness of our long-standing ancestors.

The gallery itself will present to the residents and guests of Dubai the work of artists from Central Asia, including Uzbekistan, which today is gaining popularity not only in the East, but around the world. The main mission of the art project is to promote the development of a rich culture of the region and an understanding of contemporary art.

The authors of the project are our compatriots Natalya Andakulova and Gayane Umarova. Currently, the art space is located in the Damac Park Tower building, but in the near future, according to the gallery owners, it is planned to move to the Al Quoz art town, which today becomes a real Mecca of art and culture in Dubai.

Alif Art Gallery is open from Saturday to Thursday, from 10.00 to 19.00.
