World Travel and Tourism Council Summit to be held in Abu Dhabi in April

The Global Summit of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) will be held in Abu Dhabi on April 9-10. One of the keynote speakers will be William Jefferson Clinton, 42nd President of the United States. In all, the list of speakers consists of more than 40 leading public figures, including Sir David Frost, a well-known British journalist, Daryl Hannah, an American actress and activist, Sir Jonathon Porritt, an ecologist, David de Rothschild, a traveler and ecologist, David Scousil, CEO and President of WTTC; and James Hogan, President and CEO of Etihad Airways.

Organized jointly by the Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Committee and Etihad Airways, this summit will be held at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, and a gala dinner will be held at Emirates Palace, the most famous and most luxurious hotel.

David Scousil, WTTC Executive Director and President, said: "This year, our work at the Summit will be to discuss and understand the results of a rapidly changing global economic situation ...".
