The first auction of rare Formula 1 cars is held in the United Arab Emirates

Sotheby's will hold an international auction of collectible cars at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.

RM Sotheby's, an auction car specializing in collectible cars, and Formula 1 will sell valuable cars and memorabilia at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi.

The auction will be held on Saturday evening, November 30, 2019, at the Yas Marina Circuit. Leading racing cars and sports cars with a close relationship with the history of motorsport will be presented as lots.

As part of the partnership between Formula 1 and RM Sotheby's, online auctions will also be held over the next years, which will allow motorists and collectors to become owners of exclusive pieces of history.

Al Tarek Al Ameri, CEO of Yas Marina Circuit, said: "In the Middle East, there is growing interest in collectible cars and memorabilia, so the timing for the first auction as part of a new collaboration at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is ​​perfect."
