Paid parking areas throughout the emirate of Sharjah will be free for two days in honor of the New Year, the municipality of Sharjah announced. It will be possible to leave the car in designated places for this on December 31 and January 1, 2018.
Ahmed Ali Abu Ghazen, Director General of the department that regulates parking, said that this decision is designed to create the perfect atmosphere for the New Year and provide maximum comfort for residents and visitors who will participate in the celebration.
He also warned of the misuse of parking spaces and added that inspectors would check parking areas for violations.
