UAE DIVERS ASSOCIATION OPENS ITS WEB RESOURCE

On the website www.emiratesdiving.com you can find information about all the Association's endeavors related to the study and preservation of the environment. Emirates Diving Association (EDA) owes its birth in 1995 to His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the first president of the UAE, who considered the issues of preserving, updating and protecting the marine environment of the Emirates from further pollution and destruction extremely important.

The Association’s interests now include activities such as educational programs for children on marine life, monitoring the status of coral reefs and promoting environmentally friendly fishing, pearl mining and water sports. EDA is a member of organizations for the protection of the marine environment: the American The Ocean Conservancy and the Australian Clean Up the World, as well as the Arab Diving Federation (ADF).
