In February 2018, the shows of "Eugene Onegin" and "Aida" will be held on the stage of the Dubai Opera.
It became known that the Polish National Opera arrives at the Dubai Opera in February 2018 with two opera productions: Eugene Onegin and Aida.
The tragic story of the forbidden love of "Aida", written by Giuseppe Verdi, will be shown to the public from February 14 to 17, 2018. The production will demonstrate the struggle and anguish in the passion that arose between the Nubian princess Aida and the Egyptian warrior Radames. Spectators will be staged in Italian with accompanying text in English.
The second opera is also a love story, but intertwined with friendship and rejection. "Eugene Onegin" fell in love with the whole world, and guests can undoubtedly enjoy the score, the legacy of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The opera is staged in Russian with English subtitles. It will be held in the Dubai Opera Hall on February 22 and 23.
Tickets for both performances went on sale today, August 7, 2017, with a ticket price of 350 dirhams ($ 95.3).
