All inclusive

Tourists who prefer to relax abroad have long appreciated the advantages of the “all inclusive” system, which most beach hotels offer their guests. The first such scheme in the 1960s was the French Club Med chain of hotels. Since then, this service has begun to spread worldwide.

What is “all inclusive” in the emirate's understanding? This is, first of all, food and drinks. Meals certainly mean full board (i.e. breakfast, lunch and dinner). But as for drinks, each hotel acts on its own, and here there are curious nuances. Recently, many hotels in the UAE also offer their own food systems, called "ultra all inclusive", and so on. Therefore, before buying a ticket, be sure to specify what exactly is included in this type of service.

I would like to note that the nature of the rest in the resorts of Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi is somewhat different from the rest in Fujairah and Ras al-Kheim. In the first three emirates, beach leisure is combined with walks in the city and the opportunity to experience the diversity of all the cuisines of the world outside the hotel. The second feature is a relaxing holiday in the resort away from the metropolis, so the all-inclusive offer is most relevant in hotels in Fujairah and Ras al-Kheima.

General features of the “all inclusive” system in the Emirates:

  • As a rule, the contents of the minibar, room service and ordering at the nightclub are paid separately. The "shop on wheels" cruising along the beach, offering cold beer sunbathing is also not included in the list of prepaid services.
  • All-inclusive drinks are served only at bottling, i.e. already in glasses.
  • The all-inclusive soft drinks list excludes freshly squeezed juices.
  • Local laws prohibit the use of alcohol on certain days, for example, during Islamic religious holidays. The hotel is obliged to obey such prohibitions, and the guest is actually deprived of the right to demand compensation for the "under-drunk". Usually, force majeure in the form of "Prohibition" lasts no more than 24 hours.

Fujairah Rotana Resort & Spa

In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, the hotel offers a buffet of mineral water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer, wine, a wide selection of alcoholic cocktails, served in the main restaurant and pool bar, as well as in the Mosaic restaurant .

Miramar Al Aqah Beach Resort Hotel divides the all-inclusive scheme into several options:

1. The basic option includes a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, mineral water, tea, coffee, soft drinks, beer, wine, a decent selection of alcoholic cocktails served in all restaurants, with the exception of Asian and Italian

2. The "Premium" option, in addition to the basic offer, offers "brunch by the pool" from 10:30 to 12:00, "long lunch" until 15:00 in the restaurant, or in the pool bar until 18:00 and in the afternoon snacks there from 16:00 to 17:00.

Lunch is smoothly replaced by dinner in three restaurants to choose from - from 19:00 to 22:30.

Among other things, the owners of the Premium package will be able to enjoy desserts and pastries from 10:30 to 18:00 and indulge in tea from 17:00 to 18:00.

The range of drinks of this option, in addition to juices and waters, includes all kinds of liquors - sparkling wines, beer, cocktails, liquors and the like. Only Champagne and Blu Label Whiskey are awarded a separate fee.

3. The Ultra option, in addition to the Premium, includes exclusive brands of gin, tequila, whiskey, rum, vodka and brandy.

The all-inclusive children's package, along with soft drinks, offers ice cream at the hotel.

Hotel JAL Fujairah Resort & Spa

Another JAL Fujairah beach resort also offers two all-inclusive packages to choose from: the basic Full Board Plus and Deluxe.

The first one offers breakfast - buffet, lunch in the Breeze restaurant according to the à la carte system from 12:30 to 15:00, where guests are offered 5 menu options, dinner in one of the three restaurants to choose from a la carte system, as well as soft drinks and spirits (wine, vodka, beer, gin, rum, brandy, tequila, whiskey) during lunch and dinner.

The second option "Deluxe", in addition to the above, includes: light snacks from 11:00 to 12:00 and from 16:00 to 18:00, including pastries. Children are offered ice cream from 15:00 to 16:00. Outside of lunch and dinner, drinking at the hotel is subject to an additional charge.

Since the resort belongs to the Japanese hotel chain JAL, the buffet system is unpopular and is only practiced for breakfast.

Le Meridien Al Aqah Beach Resort

The hotel calls the system "all inclusive" as "Full board plus" and clearly defines the "limits", such as: three meals a day - a buffet only in the main restaurant "Vyus" and a drink (including beer, wine and the like) there as well as in the beach restaurant and beach bar.

Whether or not to choose such a power system is up to you. According to the long-term experience of our company with tourists from the CIS countries, rest in Fujairah and Ras al-Kheima resorts on an all-inclusive basis is a significant savings of your money and a positive experience.

We wish you a pleasant stay!
