The United Arab Emirates moved from third to second place in the ranking of the safest countries in the world.

The experts of the World Economic Forum (WEF) re-placed the United Arab Emirates in the top three safest countries in the world.

Recall that in 2016, the United Arab Emirates took third place in the ranking of the safest countries in the world according to the World Economic Forum, losing only Finland and Qatar in it.

The safest country in the world in 2017 was Finland, which led the rating, consisting of 136 positions. This state also led in a similar list published in October 2016.

In second place are the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Iceland closes the top three. The top ten rankings in descending order also included Oman, Hong Kong (a special region of the PRC), Singapore, Norway, Switzerland, Rwanda and Qatar.

Russia took 109th place in this list. Her neighbors were Peru (108th position) and Cameroon (110th place).

When compiling the rating, the situation with crime and terrorism, as well as military conflicts, are taken into account.

On Thursday, April 13, the WEF recognized Colombia as the most dangerous state in the world. The top 10 of these countries also included Ukraine.

World Economic Forum - Swiss non-governmental organization. She is best known for her annual meetings in Davos, which discuss international issues. WEF members are about a thousand large organizations from different countries, including Russia.
