The world's first hotel Giorgio Armani opened in the United Arab Emirates

On April 27, 2010 in the United Arab Emirates, the long-awaited Armani Hotel Dubai of the highest category was opened, located within the walls of the world's highest skyscraper Burj Khalifa ("Khalifa Tower") in Dubai.

The ceremony of cutting the ribbon at the entrance to the world's first Armani hotel was held by Muhammad Ali Alabbar, chairman of the largest Middle Eastern developer Emaar Properties PJSC, and the maestro of the world famous Italian fashion house Armani - Giorgio Armani.

The world's first complex project from Armani is located on the 8th to 39th floors of the highest “Khalifa Tower”, has 160 luxurious hotel rooms and deluxe rooms, eight original restaurants offering international cuisine, ranging from Japanese and Indian to Mediterranean, exclusive shops, including three Armani boutiques - Armani / Galleria, Armani / Dolci, Armani / Fiori, and Spa-salons.

It will be interesting to note that the hotel’s design and a wide range of services were invented and developed by Giorgio Armani himself: starting with custom-made furniture, Eramosa stone floors, zebra-wood paneling, fabric covering the walls, and the aroma in the bathroom , to the menu in the restaurants and amenities in the rooms.

Armani residences harmoniously complement the hotel, located on the 9-16 floors of a skyscraper and consisting of 144 luxurious private apartments, which, like hotel rooms, were also designed by the Italian maestro.

“For a long time I dreamed of opening a hotel where I could stay with my family and friends with pleasure, a hotel where Armani’s artistic and aesthetic views were combined with Italian warmth, cordiality and hospitality. Thanks to Emaar and my friend This dream has finally come true for Muhammad Alabbar. I am very excited and at the same time glad to invite my guests and friends for the first time to the world's first Armani Hotel Dubai, "said Giorgio just before the opening of the hotel.

The Armani Hotel Dubai was the first project in the joint hotel chain Giorgio Armani S.p.A. and Emaar Properties PJSC, which will consist of exclusive hotels, resorts and residences. The opening of the second hotel of the Italian maestro is scheduled for 2011 in Milan, and then subsequent in New York, Tokyo, Shanghai and London.
