Emirate airline Rotana Jet made the first domestic commercial flight from Abu Dhabi to Fujairah.
In accordance with plans to expand the carrier’s route network, flights to Al Ain (twice a day) also began on September 26, followed by the launch of flights to Sharjah. Flights are operated by Embraer ERJ 145 liners with a capacity of 50 seats and a seat span of 31 inches. The carrier is also considering launching flights to Ras Al Khaimah and the Ruweis area. Currently, Rotana Jet operates two sides, their number will increase to four by the end of this year, and to eight in the next.
