In the role of Thor, you are again convincing and believable! What is the third time playing the god of thunder and storm?
Chris: I really like this character! I enjoyed playing it again. This time, the main task was to find new character traits of Thor, to make him even more attractive and complex hero of the epic. “What and how” we decided and came up with the director and screenwriter. Usually they gathered in a circle before filming and discussed for a long time what the next step would be for the development of the personality of the hero.
Glad to meet fantasy colleagues again?
Chris: Great! By the way, Tom Hiddleston and I spent a lot of time on the set of the movie Avengers. Therefore, they didn’t seem to part, but simply smoothly moved from the pavilion to the pavilion. But it will be great to work again with Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings, The Three Warriors and all the other guys. And especially with Anthony Hopkinson! Working on the very first film about the Torah, we had a great time together - on and off the court. So I'm waiting for filming to continue our communication!
Was it interesting to work with Anthony Hopkins? They say he is one of the most coveted partners on the site.
Chris: Anthony is one of those rare dramatic actors that you can work with and even be around endlessly! In everything he does, there is always weight and depth. I was pleased to work with him. I think that he also liked working with me. And we were able to find common ground for a better disclosure of the images of our heroes.
What new, in your opinion, brought to the sequel Alan Taylor?
Chris: Alan is a fantastic director! He feels the story well, tries to make it as realistic as possible so that the sequel does not look silly and boring!
We had a lot of field shooting in different countries. And I really like it. And most importantly - he was able to make Asgard a real and insanely interesting place that I really want to visit. I think the film only benefited from this. Personally, I would really like to get to Asgard!
