Eastern Mangroves Nature Reserve in Abu Dhabi can now be viewed nearby, with eco-friendly electric powered boats. Round donut inflatable boats with an electric motor, a table and an umbrella protecting from the sun can accommodate up to six people and allow you to get acquainted with the fragile beauty of the mangrove islands and their rich fauna without harming nature. Access to this reserve is prohibited for ordinary motor boats. You can control the inflatable boat yourself, after a five-minute briefing. Boats can be rented at the marina of the reserve for a period of 30 minutes to 3 hours. A half-hour ride will cost 200 dirhams (US $ 55) per boat, and a three-hour ride will cost 700 dirhams (US $ 192).
