Uzbekistan

Dear readers!

Please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. May 9, Uzbekistan celebrates the Day of Remembrance and Honors, a holiday of light sadness, reverent reverence, pride and deep gratitude.

Uzbekistan has contributed to the victory over fascism. Before the war, about 6.5 million people lived in Uzbekistan, of which 1.5 million went to the front. Given that about 500 thousand compatriots died in the war, thousands went missing, many returned crippled, it’s easy to imagine what price the people of Uzbekistan had to pay in the fight against fascism.

During the war years, the country received thousands of refugees who found their second home here. Evacuated enterprises were located in Uzbekistan, where hundreds of thousands of Uzbeks worked in the rear, providing a front. The grief that this war brought will never be forgotten. We pay tribute to selfless people who have fallen for a bright future. The courage and courage of millions of people shown on the battlefields and in the rear will forever remain in the history and memory of our peoples. It gives us great pleasure to sincerely, from the bottom of our hearts, to congratulate all participants in the war on this great date and wish them health and long life.
