Arab Emirates provided humanitarian assistance to Armenia

The United Arab Emirates donated 200 food packages to needy families in the Hrazdan city of Armenia.

On the initiative of the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Republic of Armenia and in cooperation with the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Fund, the Emirate Red Crescent Charitable Union, the Sharjah Emirate Charity Union, and the Sheikh Zayed Foundation in the Armenian city of Hrazdan, a charity program was implemented, within which 200 needy families received boxes of food.

According to “Armenpress”, in the framework of the “Year of Tolerance”, the UAE continues to fulfill its obligations to provide humanitarian assistance throughout the world, without leaving Armenia aside, and this program is part of ongoing initiatives.

The charitable assistance provided is not related to the political orientation, geographical location, national, racial or religious affiliation of the recipient countries, it primarily takes into account the humanitarian side and the needs of the peoples. The humanitarian policy of the Emirates embodies the practical application of the tolerance policy adopted by the state.
