Tourism potential of Belarus presented in Dubai

The tourism potential of Belarus will be presented at a travel exhibition in Dubai.

The tourism potential of Belarus will be presented at the 26th Arabian Travel Market, an international tourism and travel exhibition, which runs from April 28 to May 1 in Dubai.

Visitors are presented with the tourism potential of Belarus in various areas: recreation, tours, national parks, MICE (business tourism). During the exhibition, Belarus is advancing as an international sports ground. The booth visitors received detailed consultations about the upcoming II European Games, which will be held in Minsk on June 21-30.

Director of the Tourism Department of the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Belarus Andrei Molchan during the exhibition held a series of negotiations with the leaders of the tourism industry of the UAE and Saudi Arabia, including regarding the investment attractiveness of the hotel industry in Belarus. Other meetings are planned with representatives of the travel industry.

Arabian Travel Market is one of the leading international tour shows in the Middle East for inbound and outbound tourism professionals. In 2018, the event attracted about 40 thousand industry professionals, about 2500 exhibiting companies took part.

Among the key topics of ATM-2019 are the Saudi Arabian hospitality market, hotel business and halal tourism. According to Belstat, the flow of organized tourists and excursions from the UAE to Belarus increased - 1,034 people in 2018 against 28 in 2017.
