Abu Dhabi opens boutique hotel with restaurant by Michelin chef

The first Middle East hotel under the Edition brand opens in the capital of the United Arab Emirates

The first Edition-branded hotel in the Middle East to open at the Bloom Marina multifunctional complex in Abu Dhabi.

Edition Hotels is a boutique hotel brand from American hotelier and developer Jan Schrager, developed in collaboration with Marriott International. Already eight Edition hotels are open and another 30 are under development.

Sameh Mukhtadi, CEO of Bloom Holding, said: “Bloom is proud to present the first Edition hotel in the Middle East. This is an important milestone in expanding the hotel portfolio in partnership with renowned international hotel brands.”

The new hotel offers 198 rooms, suites and 57 exclusive apartments. There are also three restaurants created by world-famous chef Tom Aikens - Market at Edition, Oak Room and Alba Terrace. Tom is the youngest chef in history to be awarded two Michelin stars at once.

At the hotel, guests will also enjoy the Edition Spa. It has two separate zones for men and women, as well as seven treatment rooms, including two hammams.
