UAE residents expect a "dry" night

The following week marks the religious holiday of Al-Isra Val-Miraj.

Dubai, UAE. The religious holiday of Al-Isra Val-Mi'raj (Prophet Muhammad’s night trip from Mecca to Jerusalem) is expected to fall on April 14th this year. The onset of the holiday will be confirmed by the committee for observing the moon.

The Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing of Dubai in this regard issued a decree banning the sale of alcohol from 19.00 April 13 to 19.00 April 14, that is, the night from Friday to Saturday in the hotels and restaurants of the emirate will be "dry."
