Designers from Dubai will present their work at Design Week in Milan

Representatives of the most creative district in Dubai will prepare their work for Design Week in Milan.

Dubai Design District, d3, will be featured at UAE Design Stories: The Next Generation from The Emirates, an exhibition dedicated to the brightest talents at this year's International Design Fair Salone Del Mobile in Milan, Italy.

The world's largest design fair, also known as Milan Design Week, takes place in Milan from April 17 to 22. The exhibition, supported by the Ministry of Culture and Development of the UAE, is overseen by the famous Emirate designer Khalid Shafar, whose work is widely represented at exhibitions and galleries throughout the region and the world. Ten local designers selected by him will demonstrate their work and projects at the exhibition.

Muhammad Saeed Al Shehi, d3 CEO, noted that Dubai’s most creative district will continue to support, promote and recruit talents locally, regionally and internationally, demonstrating the developing design industry in the UAE.

The event in Milan will be the first for d3 in the UAE series of design history exhibitions. The event will be dedicated to the "flora, fauna and land of the UAE." The next exhibition of this kind will take place at the London Design Festival in September.

After that, the designers and their work will return to their hometown for the finale of the series of exhibitions, which will be held as part of Dubai Design Week from November 13 to 19.
