In Dubai, a businessman is tried for threats against a businesswoman

A Dubai entrepreneur attacked a rival in Global Village for allegedly stealing the design of his abaya.

In Dubai, an entrepreneur is charged with assault and threats against a businesswoman. The man decided that the victim had appropriated the design of the Abai, which he sells in Global Village.

It is reported that the businesswoman was at her stand and was discussing business matters with her colleague when the accused approached the victim from behind and inflicted severe injuries on her. He threatened to kill her if the woman did not refuse her statement, which she had previously filed against the attacker.

The seller, who was nearby, rushed to the aid of a business woman and drove off the attacker. During the fight, the accused stated that even if he was imprisoned, he would free himself and kill the woman.

Police detained a 37-year-old businessman shortly after the attack.

When he appeared before the Dubai Court of First Instance on Wednesday, the suspect admitted to beating a woman, but refused to acknowledge the death threats.

The defendant also complained about the policeman, who during interrogation stated that he would put the man in prison for life.

"This is not very good for the image of the Dubai police. Dubai police is one of the best and fairest police services in the whole world. He had no right to talk about life imprisonment," the suspect said.

The presiding judge requested a written complaint to the prosecutor regarding this incident.

The decision will be made on March 11.
