New applications with GPS technology will guide tourists around Dubai.
Dubai, UAE. Dubai tourism authorities in collaboration with the developers of two mobile applications launched new free tours in the emirate, which will help its guests to get acquainted with historical sights and the most popular locations.
According to Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commercial Marketing, the Metro Moments and Al Fahidi Architecture Tours are available for download from the Apple Store and Google Play.
Tours are supported by GPS navigation technology and audio support and automatically determine the location of a tourist, switching from one location to another. Tours are currently available in English, Chinese and German.
