The largest Middle Eastern surgery center opens on the island of Rome in Abu Dhabi.
VPS Healthcare launches its flagship Burjeel Day Surgery Center on the island of Rome, which the company says is the largest in the Middle East.
The staff of the center consists of 36 specialized doctors, 60 nurses and more than 100 units of support staff. The center is the only medical facility on the island.
Dr. Shamsher Vayyali, Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of VPS Healthcare, said: "We are extremely proud to offer unique medical services to people living on Al Rim and in the surrounding areas."
The island of Rome - a multi-billion dollar mixed-use project - includes such important objects as schools, shopping centers, restaurants, hotels, gardens and beaches for 200 thousand inhabitants.
The Burjeel Surgery Center offers a wide range of services, including cardiology, dentistry, dermatology and cosmetology, pediatrics, family medicine, ENT. It also provides Ayurveda treatments, an ancient system of Indian medicine.
