In the capital of the UAE, police rescuers master ATVs

Abu Dhabi police adopted ATVs to help people in the emirate even faster.

Abu Dhabi police demonstrated a new fleet of 10 ATVs to quickly respond to emergencies in the emirate.

According to police, new vehicles will be able to drive along narrow roads and maneuver in crowded areas. This will allow them to arrive at the scene faster than other services and provide first aid.

Upon arrival, the crew can assess the situation and request additional assistance from the control center, if necessary.

Each ATV will be provided with a hydraulic system designed to cut vehicles and evacuate the wounded. Each of the ATVs is equipped with a built-in fire extinguisher and an automatic defibrillator.

Two out of 10 cars are adapted for driving in sandy areas. One will head to Tal Marab at Al Dhafra, and the other to Al Sad, Al Ain.

In Dubai, police are also testing unusual vehicles, including a Russian-made flying motorcycle that can replenish the fleet of quick-response services by 2020.
