Dubai, UAE. A giant copy of the moon appeared at The Dubai Mall, in the Souk atrium, in honor of the 46th anniversary of the UAE. The installation was done by Bristol artist Luc Luc Gerram.

It reproduces in detail the surface of the only satellite of the Earth (at a scale of 1: 500,000), since NASA photographs were taken as the basis. The installation has a diameter of 7 meters and was called the Museum of the Moon. Each centimeter reproduces approximately 5 km of the lunar surface.

Earlier, the Moon Museum was presented in European cities, and its Middle East debut took place in Dubai. Those who come to see her will be treated to coffee and dates.
