Glass in silver

Argento (which means “silver” in Italian) is a new embodiment of the ideas of Italian masters, their temperament and passion expressed in exceptional items made of pure silver and the famous Murano glass, blown in northern Italy, in the Venice region.

Silver is considered an aristocrat among metals, and products from it emphasize the status of the owner, his well-being and secularism. Argento's new collections feature true masterpieces made by skilled glassblowers and craftsmen silverware: fruit vases and decanters for wine, glasses and intricate coffee pots, cups and candelabra, figurines and paperweight, jewelry and much more. To have at least one Murano glass figurine in your home is considered very prestigious.

Already in 1291, the Venice authorities were proud of the art of their glass blowers, and to preserve the secrets of their craftsmanship, using the good pretext of the fire hazard of glass production for the city, the craftsmen were relocated to the island of Murano. But the fame of their technology and products has spread throughout the world. Only Murano glassblowers can melt glass with enamel (smalto), glass interspersed with gold threads (aventurine), multi-colored rainbow glass (millefi ori), "milk" glass (lattimo), and even imitate precious stones using the same glass. Their art has survived to this day ... A new collection is presented at the Mercato Mall in the Argento brand store.
