Dubai Shopping Festival 2008 Begins!

His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President, Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman GROUP EMIRATES, As Chairman of the SUPREME COUNCIL Dubai Shopping Festival, announced the dates of holding the next 13 in a row, holiday shopping, which will be held for 32 days - from 24 JANUARY TO FEBRUARY 24, 2008.

“This festival,” said Sheikh Ahmed, “will become an independent holiday event and an exclusive time for world-class shopping and entertainment for the whole family.” Any additions aimed at improving the festival program will become even better, and this year, compared with all the previous ones, a very special holiday program will distinguish to meet the increasing expectations of guests and residents of the city.

Ahead of the festival, the traditional Global Village was opened, located in the Dubailand area.
