Emirates has entered into an interline agreement with Ural Airlines

The international airline of the United Arab Emirates - Emirates, has signed an interline agreement with Ural Airlines, one of the largest Russian air carriers. This agreement will allow passengers from the Ural and Volga regions to issue a single pass-through electronic ticket for connecting flights of both airlines, and travel from Yekaterinburg and Samara not only to Dubai, but also to more than 100 other destinations of the Emirates route network.

The interline agreement also provides for the possibility of using attractive end-to-end fares offered by Emirates and one of the leading Russian air carriers. Ural Airlines has been cooperating with Emirates since 2002 and today operates two flights from Ekaterinburg and one flight from Samara to Dubai weekly.

Egor Plakhov, Director of Emirates in Russia and the CIS, said: “The Ural region is one of Emirates’s priority areas in terms of sales development, and the signing of an electronic interline agreement with Ural Airlines is an important step for Emirates in the Russian market. I would like to to note separately that for our airline this is the first electronic interline with a carrier that places the resources of its places in the Russian Siren 2000 inventory system. I am sure that the agreement will significantly expand the capabilities of our air passengers, as well as provide they’re as comfortable as possible to travel around the world. "
