Aston Martin is faster than the wind

LOOKING AT ASTON MARTIN, RUNNING ON THE SMOOTH SPEED HIGHWAY, I VERY ACCELERATELY FEEL THAT SOON THIS ARISTOCRATIC BEAUTY WILL APPEAR IN THE MOST ROAD OF DIFFERENT COUNTRIES IN THE WORLD TERRITORY

Yes, Aston Martin, with its rich history and impeccable style, today can afford the luxury of attracting more and more fans with the brilliance of the new Vantage V8 S and Virage models and not letting go of old friends forever conquered by Rapide.

These high-class cars, which have been puzzling the minds of many motorists for more than a century, have always been primarily associated with the Royal House of England (just remember how Prince Charles of Wales was photographed with his beloved car, which was then awarded the highest seal of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, confirming AM status and quality). And the restless James Bond, who drives around on different Astron Martin superfashionable models, only consolidated the reputation of these sports cars among modern Robin Hoods and adventure seekers.

At the presentation of the latest innovations from Aston Martin this summer near Ronda in Spain, Mark Kenvorsi, CEO of Aston Martin in the Middle East and North Africa (AMMENA), expressed his sincere satisfaction with the fact that the number of millionaires in different countries of the world and with it, the need for luxury cars is growing by leaps and bounds. So, for example, the number of wealthy people in the same India today has increased significantly. Of course, interest in sports cars did not appear among Indians by chance, and not today.

According to 1932 reports, a very wealthy citizen of this country, Manish Dinshaw Petit, participated in the Mille Miglia rally (“Thousand Miles”) and thereby attracted the attention of the Indian public to high-speed luxury cars at the beginning of the last century.

The Russians, who are in love with stylish, powerful and high-speed cars, also top the list of especially important buyers, who, in fact, are aimed at the latest developments of the company. They say you can often see the Russian owners of luxury Aston Martin, driving around the streets of London. However, in the UAE, the number of happy owners of these cars from Russia and neighboring countries is increasing annually. The venue for the international presentation of Aston Martin was chosen with special care: Ronda, a picturesque walled city with a thousand-year history, is conveniently located among the plains and hills in southern Spain. It was simply impossible to refuse to drive such a luxurious "toy" as Aston Martin. Especially on almost perfect roads, surrounded by completely unusual landscapes. And the weather was favorable. Sitting behind the wheel, I felt like James Bond in a skirt.

The power of this car cannot be confused with anything. He literally "sailed" over the road, perfectly mating with it, and only a dull growl gave way to a formidable roar when I pressed the "sport" button. My car continued to rush forward with indefatigable energy and strength, confirming its ability to transform from a noble vehicle for the upper class into a high-speed car for fans of real races.

The trip through the countryside of Spain was very enjoyable and impressive. Back in Ronda, we talked to Miles Nuremberger, lead designer of Aston Martin, who spoke with incredible pride about his latest creation, describing his design as "assertive but not aggressive." “This car is not an athletic“ physique. ”It has strong forms that speak of the power that is hidden under the hood,” Miles said, stroking the car on a sparkling wing. - "The crest on the roof is a kind of muscle, and in the interior we used voluminous welts to surround the seats made of genuine leather." Of course, it could not do without branded lines with red thread on other surfaces in the cabin, ideally combined with the overall design and clearly indicating a high-quality, custom-made finish.

What models can be expected in the UAE market in the near future? Matthew Clark, Aston Martin's corporate product and communications manager, said that almost all new products will soon appear on our roads, including One-77, DBS (Coupe and Volante), Virage (Coupe and Volante) Rapide, DB9 (Coupe and Volante) V12 Vantage, V8 Vantage (Coupe and Roadster), V8 Vantage (Coupe and Roadster).

A few facts about Aston Martin and James Bond

Not everyone knows that the car that Agent 007 drove in the sixth film “Bond” “On Her Majesty's Secret Service” has been in Australia for more than three decades.

At the premiere of the latest James Bond adventure film “Quantum of Solace”, which was released in late 2008 and showed the world the new Aston Martin DBS, the current owner of a rare car from Agent Garage 007 Zigi Zijiunas arrived. He restored this car for 25 years!

For many years, the famous DBS of Sean Connery, who played Bond, was a true legend, barely appearing on movie screens in 1964.

At the time of the release of the film “On Her Majesty's Secret Service” in 1969, both the world and Aston Martin changed a lot. Then the car shot in this film was replaced with the new DBS model, which is now the decoration of the Cars of the Stars museum in the UK.

From the history of Aston Martin

In 1913, Robert Bamfort and Lionel Martin teamed up to sell Singer cars and prepare them for hills and races. After decades, the company, which has repeatedly changed its owners, has remained true to its main goal - to produce high-class luxury cars and racing cars.

Over 98 years, the company has produced more than 50,000 cars and today is represented in the world, thanks to 132 dealers in 41 countries. Thanks to its long partnership with the famous James Bond films, the company has been awarded numerous international awards.

In January 2011, the Aston Martin Rapide was named the best in the luxury class in a German automobile magazine. This recognition immediately followed the awarding of the same model with the 'Most Beautiful Car of 2010' award.

The new Virage and V 8 Vantage S models, recently unveiled to the general public, take first place in the list of the best sports cars in the world.
