Recently, the centers of children's creativity, which used to be called "circles", grow in the United Arab Emirates like mushrooms after rain. Mostly such studios open in areas of the "new" Dubai - Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Jumeirah Beach Residence. On the one hand, they act as an alternative to nurseries and kindergartens (Dubai’s mothers know that finding a good kindergarten is not an easy task), on the other hand, they can completely replace domestic nannies who rarely speak Russian. In addition, the studios serve as centers for preparing children for school, where, as we know, they will be met not only by a multicultural environment, but also by increased requirements for basic knowledge.

“For three years I watched the development of children in Dubai - even when I came on vacation on a tourist package. Our children read at home at four years old, at five they already know arithmetic, and at six they are ready for school. Here, at the same age, many cannot even hold a pencil in their hand: they do not have developed memory, fine motor skills, but all this is laid down at an early age. As a result, the child’s mental processes slow down, which means that he’s surely in school there will be problems with mastering the exact sciences, "says Angelica Ukr Inskaya, founder and leaders Tel center Think Positive.

As a rule, parents are worried when they see that the child at the age of three has not yet started speaking or at the age of five could not pass the entrance tests to school. At the same time, not every parent notices the lack of skills that should be formed at an early age. This, in particular, includes a sense of taste, the pursuit of beauty, beauty and kindness - moral values with which the child will go on through life.

Anna Gorbasheva, a professional ballerina, founder and head of the Unique Dance Class ballet studio, considers her students' ability to strive for beauty to be their main achievement. Her pupils not only train at the machine four days a week, but also regularly demonstrate their achievements at all major holidays - be it Victory Day, Russia Day and many others. "We work in different directions: I put on folk, modern, classical, role-playing dances.

This teaches the kids not only the plastic of dance, musicality, but also helps to open up, to feel more confident. In the studio, girls from three to 14 years old are involved - a total of about 60 students. For small children, I teach ballet in a playful way, because there is a fine line between desire and unwillingness to practice. And as a professional teacher, I try to instill a love of dancing and teach the basics of choreography without crossing this line, which requires great patience and love for children. This is an interesting creative process, where there is no limit to either dance fantasy or the quality of performance of productions, "Anna Gorbasheva shares.

According to her, one of the main problems in Dubai is the temporary stay of children in the country. “As a rule, families come here for 2-3 years. As soon as the children begin to show results, it's time to leave the country. Children know that they will have to leave soon and begin to try less. Meanwhile, good results can be seen only after 5-10 years daily, painstaking and hard work, "the choreographer clarifies.

Of the fact that children from young nails need to instill a craving for beauty, they are also confident in the Sonata Art Center studio, which opened in Dubai in 2013. Here, children and adults come to music, art and sports, to expand their knowledge of etiquette, cooking and needlework. Classes are taught by professional educators and qualified instructors in both Russian and English. “Our goal is to reveal hidden talents in children at any age, to cultivate an aesthetic taste, to instill a culture. That’s how I raised my two children. For several years I tried to find like-minded colleagues who share my aspirations. My searches were successful, and in the near future we are going to open several more branches of our center in Dubai, "says Irina Korneeva, head of the studio.

Many parents, of course, complain that in Dubai there is no sports or dance school in their classical sense, and it is difficult to make children take their tasks seriously. “In Dubai, you can find different centers for child development: music, dance, sports, art,” says our compatriot Anna, a mother of two children who permanently resides in Dubai. “They do not always meet high standards, but children succeed there and receive praise from "teachers, which is very important for the child. I am glad that my children grew up in this country and achieved success both in school and in sports. I recall with horror how I myself had to make my way in life."

However, there are such sports where you can’t do without a good coach for those who expect high results from their children: among them are swimming, rhythmic gymnastics and figure skating. Such specialists include the trainer and master of sports in rhythmic gymnastics Julia Shepelina, who has been working with children in Dubai for several years. "Julia brings up in children the qualities necessary to achieve high sports results: willpower, perseverance, patience.

Children always run to her trainings, ”says Valentina Morozova, mother of 7-year-old gymnast Ksyusha. “Those children who are attracted to beauty, grace, appreciate plastic surgery go to her, and this is the best way possible from the reporting speeches, during which the children simply glow with happiness.”

It should be noted that the activities of children's centers in Dubai have intensified markedly with the move of the Lukoil-Overseas company here. Young mothers, many of whom became housewives, resolutely took the educational process of their children into their own hands. In November 2013, the Club of Russian Moms appeared in the Jumeirah Beach Residence area, where children from two to six years old study the alphabet, arithmetic, study with a speech therapist or in a circle of arts and crafts.

Parents bring their children from Dubai Marina, The Springs and The Palm Jumeirah. “Mugs for children from two to four years old are aimed at the general development of the child, from four to six - to prepare for school,” says the founder of the center, Elena Negrobova. “In October, we launched music clubs for children from two years old. In addition, we are with collaborates with an English teacher for children and adults. "

During the preparation of the article, we received many reviews from young mothers, including their wishes and aspirations. “Unfortunately, there are no young naturalist groups in Dubai where children could join nature, study the wildlife. I think modern entrepreneurs should pay attention to this,” writes our compatriot Zarina. It is also curious that we did not receive a single review from the boys' moms. It is unlikely that they are chasing the ball in the courtyard of Jumeirah Beach Residence. It would be interesting to know what they are doing!
