Chopard presents the updated L'Heure du Diamant line at BASELWORLD 2019.
At the main watch exhibition BASELWORLD 2019, which runs until March 26 in Switzerland, Chopard introduced the updated L'Heure du Diamant watch line with mineral dials.
A revitalizing 60s collection, Chopard's unrivaled craftsmanship emphasizes both exquisite jewelry and watchmaking. Eight new models refer to the modernity of the 60s and mark the celebration of the 50th anniversary of Chopard's exquisite watchmaking craftsmanship. L'Heure du Diamant is the perfect combination of art and science, tradition and modernity.
The products are built on the solid foundation of the Chopard House family heritage and rich experience in watchmaking, in which the brand was always ready to take bold steps towards innovation and inventiveness in the field of design and craftsmanship.
The world saw the first Chopard watches with dials made of minerals, including lapis lazuli, malachite, jade and tiger's eyes, a characteristic feature of jewelry of the late 60s and 70s. They were framed with diamonds and bracelets made of white gold, which is another hallmark of jewelry of the 1970s.
Exactly 50 years after this event, Chopard presents eight new L'Heure du Diamant watches, inspired by the original 1969 models. Each watch is equipped with exclusive dials in various colors and designs: from dark blue lapis lazuli with gold dots to velvety malachite; from sky blue turquoise to black opal. The deep, bright, emotional colors of the dials are complemented by diamonds weighing more than four carats.
Understanding that the possibility of choice is extremely important for a modern person, as well as individuality, Chopard offers not only white gold pieces, but also alligator leather straps as a bracelet.
The watch is equipped with a Chopard 09.01-C automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve.
