In Germany, a collection of selected poems by the ruler of Dubai, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, will be published in German.
Sheikh Mohammed’s poems were translated into German by a design team led by the famous German poet Joachim Sartorius, chairman of the Berlin Literary Festival and a renowned translator of American literature. As part of the project, the works of famous poets from many countries of the world are translated into German. Two highly qualified translators from Arabic to German worked on the German version of the anthology of poetry by Sheikh Mohammed. The collection will be published in Munich.
The poems of Sheikh Mohammed, as well as his prose, have already been published in Arabic, English and Russian. The anthology of his poems in Arabic and English is called "Desert Poems."
