Dubai hosted the third international exhibition and conference, MRO Middle East, dedicated to the maintenance and overhaul of aircraft equipment and technology, organized by F&E Aerospace and Aviation Week.
Within two days, aviation professionals and specialists from around the world got the opportunity to meet, exchange contacts for possible cooperation, discuss new technologies, processes and resource management strategies. The exhibition was attended by 200 large companies, including Abu Dhabi Aircraft Technologies (ADAT), Boeing, Lufthansa Technik, Goodrich, Pratt & Whitney, Rockwell Collins and many others.
The main speakers at the conference this year were: Adele Ali, Chief Executive Officer of the low-cost airline Air Arabia; Ken Gile, COO of flydubai; Ian Lachlan, Emirate Airline, and Abdullah Shadid, Mubadala's Senior Outer Space Business Development Manager.
