RACER FROM RUSSIA NIKITA MILYAKOV TAKES THE 1st PLACE IN THE ROTAX MAX JUNIOR CLASS AT THE LAST 12TH STAGE AND THE 4th PLACE IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. THE LAST STAGE OF CARDS RACE WAS PASSED IN ALAIN IN THE CONFIGURATION OF THE GRAND FINAL ROUTE - THE SAME WHICH THE BIG FINAL OF THESE CLASSES WILL BE PASSED IN NOVEMBER OF THIS YEAR.

The UAE kart championship in the Rotax Max classes, or UAE Rotax Max Challenge, is held from October to April and consists of 12 stages, seven of which are held in Al Ain, four in Dubai and one in Abu Dhabi. Depending on the age of the pilots, several classes are represented in the competitions - Cadet, Rotax Max Junior, Rotax Max Senior, Rotax Max Master and DD-2. The Championship is attended by riders from all over the world who currently live in the UAE and the Gulf countries (and not only), and have a national or international racing license. This is what gives these competitions an extraordinary spirit of struggle on every centimeter of the track and entertainment.

Last season in the UAE Karting Championship was attended by the only representative of Russia and the CIS countries - Nikita Milyakov. The young athlete began karting in Tyumen at age 12 and participated in the Cups of the Ural Federal District (Ural Federal District) as part of the Tyumen KDT team named after A. M. Kizhevatova under the guidance of coach Alexander Ovechkin. Nikita continued his racing career in 2010 in Moscow as part of the Leader training center, under the guidance of coaches Sergei Kononov and Anton Kononov, where he took part in two stages of the RAF go-kart championship in the Rotax Max Junior class.

Further, due to the family moving to Dubai (UAE), Nikita could not finish the season begun in Russia, but he was able to participate in the UAE Karting Championship in the Rotax Max Junior class and from the first stage, October 1, 2010, joined the fight. Already in the third stage of the Championship, Nikita took third place and climbed the podium, and in the next stages he was very close to the leaders. But not everything went so smoothly.

The "black day" was the 10th stage of the competition, held March 18 this year in Dubai. Nikita took a good position at the start of the first, warm-up stage race and already overtook the leader when there was a touch with his car. Cart Nikita a bullet flew into the wall before the first turn of the road. Not only the suspension suffered from the blow, but the steering column also failed. Fortunately, everything worked out with the pilot, no damage. The team "Al Ain Racing" (Al Ain Racing), which is Nikita, was able to prepare the injured cards for the pre-final race, where Nikita was able to break from last place to fourth.

In the final, it was planned to develophurry up and get on the podium when in the second turn on the first lap of the race, in the resulting "blockage" the car again suffered damage, "incompatible with the continuation of the race." But as they say - “failures harden”, and the last 12th stage of the Championship was a confirmation of this. Nikita won the race in a fantastic style, breaking from last place to first, ahead of season silver medalist Piers Pakenham Walsh, who finished second in the race, and season champion Abdullah Al Rawahi, who could only climb on the third step of the pedestal. According to the results of the 2010-2011 season, Nikita Milyakov took 4th place.

In October this year, Nikita will turn 16 years old, and he plans to continue his performances in the next class of the UAE Karting Championship - Rotax Max Senior. In November 2011, the Al Ain International Circuit, the international circuit, will host the Grand Final of the international Rotax Max series, where champions from all over the world will identify the strongest in their classes. In the final competition of the series, riders from Russia will also participate.

We wish them success and brilliant victories!
