Flydubai Airlines began operating flights to Kiev, Kharkov and Donetsk as part of its strategy, which envisages the development of new directions for direct flights with the UAE. These three cities became the first destinations served by Flydubai in Ukraine, increasing the total number of routes on the company's map to 44. The first flights to Kiev and Kharkov left Dubai on September 16 at 9.00 and 9.10 in the morning, respectively. The flight, which opened the Flydubai air link with Donetsk, took place a day later, on September 17 at 9.00 a.m. All three flights started from the second terminal of Dubai International Airport.
On the occasion of the opening of Flydubai's air links with Ukraine, airplanes in Kiev, Kharkov and Donetsk were met with ceremonies in the presence of officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Boris Kolesnikov, and the leader of Flydubai, Gate Al Gate.
Flight Flydubai FZ727 departing from the second terminal of Dubai Airport at 9.00 will arrive in Kiev at 13.15 local time; the return flight departing at 14.15 will land in Dubai at 20.10.
Flight FZ725 will depart at 9.10 and arrive in Kharkov at 13.10; the return flight departing at 14.10 will arrive in Dubai at 19.40. Flight FZ721 Dubai - Donetsk will start at 9.00 and land at 12.25; the return flight departing at 13.25 will arrive in Dubai at 18.35.
The cost of tickets on the Kiev-Dubai route will be from 715 dirhams (US $ 194.48), on the routes Kharkov-Dubai and Donetsk-Dubai - from 790 dirhams (US $ 214.88).
